I am 6'7, long legs and 285lbs. Being on the higher end of the recommended size there are things that are both good and bad.
The good:
- The motor is VERY strong. I wasn't expecting it to push my weight so well but even with just the throttle the acceleration is pretty quick. When you give it some pedal heavy riders will be surprised with it's pulling power.
- The tires are great. I didn't experience any rollover when turning with the tires pumped up to 25psi.
- The frame feels really sturdy and high quality.
- The welds are really well done. I am a welder and have a lot of experience with aluminum. Weld appearance is really high quality and I didn't see any spots where there was lack of fusion or rollover.
- Both the seats that comes with the bike and the upgraded seat are very comfortable for a heavy rider.
- The rear suspension feels very good and didn't bottom out for me at all even over tall curbs and bumps on the trail.
- The brakes feel good I didn't have an issue stopping at high speed.
- Riding with the bike fully turned off is a lot easier than expected. The weight of the bike didn't hinder its usability for me. If your battery dies, getting back to your car or wherever you started from is doable.
The bad:
- The only reviews of this bike I could find online were sponsored.
- Pay attention to the fact there are only 5 star reviews posted on the website.
- I wear a size 13 shoe, your toes will scrape the ground occasionally.
- The seat post is kind of a joke, it only moves up about 5 inches which did not provide enough height for a decent pedal position with legs around a 36 inseam. Puts a lot of stress on your quads. I bought a 350mm seat post and that improved the issue.
- The display is pretty cheap plastic and the battery charge indicator was really sporadic, it would move up and down 2 or 3 bars often and did not give a clear indication of how much battery I had left after a 14 mile ride. Once I got home the indicator went up to 100% again, really confusing.
- The battery charge indicator makes me feel uncomfortable going on longer rides because it appears to give unreliable readings.
- The handles are very hard plastic, not comfortable.
- In pedal assist 3 with modest throttle control, there's no shot you're going to get close to 80 miles if you're a heavy guy. Kinda obvious though, probably not a bike issue more of the curse of being a very large person. I will update my review once I get a long ride in but I think I will probably get half the mileage which is still decent.
At first my impressions were a bit low because the box was open and damaged. All of the zipties were broken, it appeared that the bike had been pulled out already.
Negative impressions aside, I am happy with my purchase. The price is worth it. Most of the issues I experienced can be fixed with modifications.

I was looking at several brands and decided on Kingbull because the battery pack was bigger than the competitors in that price point. Assembly was simple and the bike performs great! Highly recommend!

Easy to assemble and great to ride solo or with one of my kids on the back. The 5 power levels, peddle assist, lights, and digital display are all useful, nice touches! The top speed of 31 mph was also quite surprising!
Overall, I’m very pleased and think this was a good value.
