Electric Bicycle Safety and Liability Waiver

Failure to comply with the following terms will result in your full responsibility for any personal injury or property damage arising from the use of the electric bicycle. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you expressly waive any claims related to personal injury or property damage arising from the use of the electric bicycle.
No person under the age of 16 may operate a RIDING 5 electric bicycle. Children under the age of 16 may lack the judgment and skills required for the safe operation of an electric bicycle, potentially resulting in damage to the vehicle, other property damage, serious injury, and/or death. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the rider is at least 16 years old and complies with all local laws and regulations regarding rider age and other eligibility requirements.
If a minor operates the electric bicycle, that minor and their parent or guardian shall bear full responsibility for any actions taken and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, waive any and all claims arising from such conduct, including but not limited to claims for personal injury or property damage. Please refer to Section 9(h) below for details on how to waive such claims under this section.
Riding any bicycle, electric bicycle, electric tricycle, or similar vehicle without a helmet poses a high risk of serious head injury or death. Always wear a suitable helmet that covers the forehead, regardless of ride duration. Many jurisdictions require specific safety equipment. You are responsible for understanding applicable regulations and ensuring that both riders and passengers comply with all local helmet and safety laws.
All bicycles, electric bicycles, electric tricycles, and similar vehicles are subject to wear and tear. Certain parts and fasteners may stretch or loosen due to normal vibrations and stress during riding. You must inspect your electric bicycle/electric tricycle before each ride and follow the inspection checklist provided in the user manual. Failure to do so may result in property damage, serious injury, or death. It is your responsibility to conduct a safety inspection before every ride.
There are inherent risks associated with riding any bicycle, electric bicycle, electric tricycle, or similar vehicle, including but not limited to the risk of serious injury or death. You assume full responsibility for any risks associated with the use of the electric bicycle, electric tricycle, or related products and activities.
Improper assembly, maintenance, or use of the electric bicycle/electric tricycle may result in component or performance failure, loss of control, and even serious injury or death. You must read and understand the complete user manual provided with the electric bicycle/electric tricycle and all subcomponents or accessories before riding. Unless your electric bicycle/electric tricycle has been assembled by a RIDING 5 retail or service team, you are solely responsible for its proper maintenance, correct assembly, and/or reassembly.
Using a damaged battery or charger may damage other components or cause a fire. Immediately stop using the battery and charger and contact RIDING 5 if any of the following conditions occur:
(1) The charger's power cord or output cable, or any wires on the electric bicycle/electric tricycle, show signs of wear, insulation breakage, or other damage;
(2) The battery or charger is physically damaged, malfunctioning, or performing abnormally;
(3) The battery or charger has been subjected to severe impact due to dropping, collision, or transportation, whether or not visible damage is present;
(4) The battery has been submerged in liquid or heavily exposed to water or other damage;
(5) The charger becomes excessively hot to the touch (it is normal for it to become warm during use), emits unusual odors, produces cracking sounds, or exposes internal components. Please dispose of or recycle in accordance with local regulations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release RIDING 5 from any and all liability, actions, claims, and demands arising from any injury, death, loss, or damage suffered by you or any third party, or from any property damage, as a result of your use of the electric bicycle/electric tricycle. This waiver includes but is not limited to claims based on negligence or defects in the design, manufacture, maintenance, assembly, or inspection of the electric bicycle/electric tricycle.
